A family Winter in beautiful colours.

Winter has a particularly special charm here. The lake, glistening with ice crystals, the snowy woods and the warm hospitality at the guesthouse are soothing to the soul.

Our central location is an ideal starting point for the many varied Winter sports activities on offer. Several excellent ski areas are within half an hour of the guesthouse: the newly expanded Goldeck resort with the longest black valley descent in the Alps, the ‘Katschi’ family ski mountain, the Innerkrems, the Mölltaler Glacier, the Ankogel and Bad Kleinkirchheim.

But Winter is also fun away from the slopes. The perfect cross-country ski trails and frozen lakes are a great place for cross-country skiing and skating. Seeboden also has its own ice rink. Sledging on the natural toboggan runs of the Alps down through the snow-covered Winter woodlands is also a real highlight for all the family. Or perhaps you would prefer a horse-drawn sledge ride through the landscape. There is something for everyone during Winter in Carinthia!
