The rolling hills of the Millstätter Alps, Goldeck area and Nockberge National Park are home to hundreds of kilometres of well-marked and well-tended footpaths and mountain bike trails. Traditional Alpine cabins and cosy wine bars along the way are the perfect place to rest, enjoy a snack and recharge your batteries.

The 18-hole golf course on a sunny plateau high above the lake offers breath-taking panoramic views, not to mention a pleasurable game of golf. Culture is also a way of life here and is every bit as colourful and diverse. From comedy plays at the Schloss Porcia castle to music weeks in Millstatt, museums, galleries and events such as the bodypainting festival – this is everything a holiday should be.
